Description
The route starts at the doorstep of Bradley Street Bicycle Coop/True Cyclery and turns around at Lake Waramaug State Park. Riders can expect to encounter asphalt, smooth dirt roads, and some slightly chunkier double track. Most cyclocross/gravel/allroads/adventure bikes will be suitable. A 35mm file tread tire is sufficient. Lake Waramaug State Park offers excellent camping options, but be sure to book in advance during the busy season. There is plenty of food and water along the route, but depending on your speed, you may go a couple of hours before finding an opportunity to resupply. This can also be ridden in a single, very long day.
