Congratulations.  You've made it to my not-so-secret listing of "DMW events".  Unless someone wants to buy me a glass of water, know that this is just a silly passion project that I do for grins, camaraderie and some strange sense of fulfillment.  No money shall change hands.  The dates below are subject to change based on my own life priorities, accommodations made for various cycling buddies and their events, weather, and pure whimsy.  Chances are you, you've found yourself here because we are already pals, or you know someone who knows me, and thus have some idea as to how I roll.  Either way, here are some general guidelines:

Know the terrain (ask if needed) and equip yourself appropriately.  A gravel bike is NOT always an appropriate or feasible solution.  A skinny-tire road bike is almost universally the wrong tool.

Be self sufficient.  There are no sag wagons or staffed rest stops.  Most rides will pass by a gas station or convenience store at some point, but that is occasionally a considerable distance.  Be sure you have enough to get there.  A spare tube(s) (even if you run tubeless), pump and a multi-tool are also a must.

Be prepared to self-navigate.  Whether you prefer your cell phone, fancy Garmin head unit or GPS watch, have the route pre-loaded and know how to use your device.  If you need to limp home because of a mechanical issue, personal issue or otherwise, this is your lifeline.

Still with me?  Great!  Here's what I'm up to this year:
